At THE CUBE Canary Wharf, we strive to make our venue as accessible and inclusive as possible to all our valued guests.

The following information is designed to help you plan your journey and answer any questions that you may have on your upcoming visit to THE CUBE.

Please note that throughout the venue you will encounter:

• Bright flashing lights
• Continuous flashing lighting
• Loud music
• Various other audio streams
• Sporadic sound effects.

 

LOCATION

We are located on the corner of Water Street and Charter Street, with the entrance to the venue on Charter Street, just past TRIBE Canary Wharf.

The check-in to THE CUBE is situated on level two, which is accessible via a lift from the ground floor located on Charter Street.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

THE CUBE is easily accessible by car or public transport.

By Car

The postcode for THE CUBE Canary Wharf is E14 5GZ. To find the car parks around Canary Wharf, please click the link below. The closest carpark to THE CUBE is Canada Square car park and is located on Montgomery Street and has disabled bays for Blue Badge holders. These car parks do not accept cash payments. By Rail

The closest train station to THE CUBE is Canary Wharf Station, located on the Jubilee, Elizabeth and DLR lines. There is step free access around the whole station, via the use of lifts.

By Bus

THE CUBE has bus stops with the closest buses being D3 and D8. To plan your route, we recommend using the Transport for London journey planner – https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/

Many buses have ramps and can accommodate wheelchairs, with some of the newer buses also having display screens, route numbers, destination displays and audio-visual ‘next stop’ announcements.

VENUE ACCESSIBILITY

THE CUBE Canary Wharf is spread across the first and second floors of the building. There are two elevated signs: one on the corner of the building and one above the front entrance. There is also a large rectangular sign located to the right-hand side of the entrance. Clear street level entry is via a ramp and accessible lift. There are no doors or steps at the Canary Wharf venue entrance.

Ground Floor Lobby Area

The ground floor is for access to THE CUBE only. Once inside the venue there are two wheelchair accessible lifts that will take you to THE CUBE located on floors 1 and 2. There are also stairs located to the right that give access to all floors. The flooring colour in the lobby area is grey.

Lift dimensions:

First Floor

To gain access to the First Floor, there is a wheelchair accessible lift located on the Ground Floor in the lobby area. Only the lift on the right can access this floor. The First Floor has two disabled accessible bars; the 360 bar and VIP3 bar.

All other bars in the venue do not have an accessible service point, but our staff will be happy to provide you with table service if required. If necessary, the staff member will take your order from here.

The flooring on this level is coloured is grey.

There is seating for spectators located around this level of the venue.

The staircase located to the west gives access to all floors, as well as staircases that go up to Mezzanine 1.

To maximise your gameplay on THE CUBE, we recommend that prior to, or on your arrival, you speak to the onsite team to ensure we allocate you the most accessible games, as not all our games are wheelchair friendly.

Mezzanine 1

Mezzanine 1 provides access to the Men’s and Women’s toilets and are accessible via staircases to the west, and staircases accessible via the First and Second Floors.

The flooring on this level is coloured is grey.

Second Floor

To gain access to the Second Floor, there are two wheelchair accessible lifts located on the Ground Floor in the lobby area. The staircase located to the west gives access to all floors.

The flooring on this level is coloured is grey.

There is seating for spectators located around this level.

Mezzanine 2

Mezzanine 2 provides access to the Summit Bar via a staircase from the Second Floor.

The flooring on this level is coloured is grey.

 

FACILITIES

There are a range of tables and chairs available throughout the venue.

Toilets

Our accessible toilet is located on the First Floor in the vicinity of the lift.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Assistance dogs are welcome in the venue. Unfortunately, other dogs are not permitted.

The building has varied levels of lighting. It should be noted that our ambient lighting level is dim in areas.

Please be aware that at peak periods the venue gets very crowded with limited space to navigate around.
